Animals – by-law 2006-08

The by-law concering animals determines minimal conditions for keeping animals, licences and nuisances.  A section concerns dogs in particular.  The by-law is applied by the SPA de l’Estrie.

Door to door sales – by-law 2010-07

This by-law sets limits on door to door sales.

Road circulation – by-law 2010-04

This by-law set limits on heavy vehicle traffic.

Motor idling – by-law 2010-08

Idling is when a motor is turning while a vehicle is immobile.  Idling for more than 3 minutes is forbidden.  The police applies this by-law.  Special conditions apply to heavy vehicles.

Nuisances – by-law 2010-06

This by-law concerns nuisances such as noise, light,cleanliness and maintenance of provate properties, snow removal, etc.

Security by-law 2010-05

This by-law concerns security, peace and order in public places such as parks.

This by-law concerns parking on public roads.

Municipal works – by-law 2009-08

This by-lae sets the framework for development projects (roads, aqueducts and sewers, etc.) and requires that all developpers sign an agreement with municipality for the cession of public infrastructures.

Septic tank emptying – by-law 2003-02

All septic tansks are emptied once every two (2) years.
