One of the mandates of the evaluation service is to maintain inventory. This consists of visiting properties that have not been visited in the last 6 years.
Sometimes owners forget to take a permit for renovations and for fairness the law requires municipalities to visit all properties periodically.
In the coming weeks, the evaluation service employees Francis Beaudin, Mathieu Dussault and Marcel Fontaine will be visiting properties that have not been visited in the last 6 years.
This is done inf accordance with article 15 of the Loi sur la Fiscalité municipale, which also specifies that visits can be made Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. except on official holidays.
