{"id":508,"date":"2011-04-29T15:02:33","date_gmt":"2011-04-29T15:02:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cantondehatley.ca\/\/?page_id=508"},"modified":"2025-02-07T16:21:32","modified_gmt":"2025-02-07T16:21:32","slug":"planning-advisory-committee","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cantondehatley.ca\/en\/land\/planning-advisory-committee\/","title":{"rendered":"Planning Advisory Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"508\" class=\"elementor elementor-508 elementor-60\" data-elementor-post-type=\"page\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-24d56114 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"24d56114\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-619a78c7\" data-id=\"619a78c7\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ab7ea7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9ab7ea7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Act respecting land use planning and development (LAU) allows municipalities to create a Planning Advisory Committee (CCU).\u00a0<\/p><p>Although the CCU is consultative and non-decisional in nature, it nevertheless plays an undeniable role in the planning and administration of the municipal territory.<\/p><p>The role of the CCU is important in the planning and administration of the municipal territory, notably in the following cases:<\/p><ul><li>Formulating an opinion on all requests for minor exemptions;<\/li><li>Formulate an opinion on all plans submitted under a by-law on site planning and architectural integration programs;<\/li><li>Formulate recommendations on any question submitted to it concerning the modification or application of by-laws in force;<\/li><li>Formulate an opinion on any application submitted under a by-law on specific construction, alteration or occupancy projects;<\/li><li>Formulate an opinion on any application submitted under a by-law on conditional uses.<\/li><\/ul><p>The CCU is composed of the following members: 4 resident citizens and 2 municipal councillors.
