Do not use tap water unless you have boiled it for at least one minute or use commercially bottled water.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to technical problems with the network in your sector, the municipality ask you to boil your water for at least a minute before consumption, until further notice.<\/p>\n

What should you do?<\/p>\n

\u2022 Until further notice, use boiled or commercially bottled water for drinking, brushing your teeth, making ice, and for washing and preparing foods that will be eaten raw.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Tap water can still be used for showers or baths. However, it would be preferable to use a face cloth to wash infants rather than bathe them.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Tap water can be used for washing hands as long as soap is used and hands are dried afterwards.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Washing dishes in the warm or tepid tap water is safe as long as detergent is used and dishes are dried afterwards.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Schools, businesses, and institutions: advise your clients and beneficiaries that the water is not fit for consumption; you must post this information wherever water is available. You must provide them with a source of clean drinking water until the tap water is again suitable for drinking.<\/p>\n
