Refunds available to residents

The Municipality of Canton de Hatley wishes to inform its residents that it is offering refunds to facilitate access to the region’s beaches this summer.

Massawippi Beach (Ayers Cliff)

Did you know? Canton de Hatley has been co-owner of Plage Massawippi located in Ayers Cliff since 2016. Massawippi Beach is a public beach managed by the Régie du Parc Régional Massawippi and owned by the municipalities of Canton de Hatley, Hatley, Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley and Ayer’s Cliff. Access to the beach is free for all Canton residents. A 100% refund is offered on the cost of the $50 seasonal parking pass, upon presentation of proof of purchase.

Pleasant View Beach (North Hatley)

For Pleasant View Beach in North Hatley, Canton de Hatley residents may obtain a 100% refund on presentation of an official receipt for both individual and family season passes, up to 300 $ per household. 

Please note that the purchase of 10-entry booklets and day tickets is no longer eligible for reimbursement.

How do I request a refund?

All requests must be submitted in the same calendar year as the registration date.  All refund requests must therefore be received by the municipality before December 31.

To request a refund, please complete the form provided and attach your official receipts and proof of residence. Send all documents to the municipal office or by e-mail to Annie Deshaies at [email protected]. A cheque will then be mailed to you.

Maximum $300 per residence per year.
