At the winter solstice, the nights are long, the light withdraws, nature is at rest. Interiority, reflection and contemplation slowly settle in. Beyond the known story: the birth of the divine child, the star, the angels, the donkey and the ox, the Magi, feel the depth and beauty of these images filled with meaning.  

The forty voices of the EVM accompanied by an instrumental ensemble and Francine Leng at the piano, under the direction of Lise Gardner, will perform works by Handel, Beethoven, Haydn, Berlioz, Forrest, Gjeilo, Jenkins, Whitacre as well as some of the most beautiful Christmas carols.
