The Municipality of Canton de Hatley wishes to inform its residents that it is offering refunds to facilitate access to the region’s beaches this summer.
✅ Massawippi Beach (Ayers Cliff)
Did you know? Canton de Hatley has been co-owner of Plage Massawippi located in Ayers Cliff since 2016. Massawippi Beach is a public beach managed by the Régie du Parc Régional Massawippi and owned by the municipalities of Canton de Hatley, Hatley, Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley and Ayer’s Cliff. Access to the beach is free for all Canton residents. A 50% refund is offered on the cost of the $50 seasonal parking pass, upon presentation of proof of purchase.
✅ Pleasant View Beach (North Hatley)
For Pleasant View Beach in North Hatley, Canton de Hatley residents can obtain a 50% refund on presentation of an official receipt for a season pass, for the purchase of a 10-entry booklet or for the purchase of daily tickets. Receipts must be combined into a single claim at the end of the season.
How do I request a refund?
All requests must be submitted in the same calendar year as the registration date. All refund requests must therefore be received by the municipality before December 31.
To request a refund, please complete the form provided and attach your official receipts and proof of residence. Send all documents to the municipal office or by e-mail to Annie Deshaies at [email protected]. A cheque will then be mailed to you.
Maximum $150 per residence
