The provincial Residential Swimming Pool Safety Regulations have been amended and take effect on July 1, 2021.
New standards and provisions will apply to any existing swimming pool, regardless of its date of installation. In certain situations, this by-law provides a period for homeowners to bring their installation into compliance.
The regulations are available on the Internet: mamh.gouv.qc.ca/ministere/securite-des-piscines-residentielles
