Canton de Hatley municipality is looking for volunteers to participate in the operations of civil security in case of a major disaster (Black ice, prolonged power failure, flood, etc.)
In case of major disaster,
( ) I would be interested to participate in the field operations- Tree cutting (chainsaw)- Transport (truck, MTB, boat, etc.)- Works (excavator, tractor)- Manual labor
( ) I would be interested to participate in helping of disaster victims- Reception and giving information to the evacuees- Registration of the evacuees- Supply (drinking water, food)- Organization of the evacuee service center

This is a follow up on the adoption by the government of the Regulation on warning procedures and mobilization and the ways of minimal help to protect the safety of the people and the properties in case of disaster. All volunteers would be under the authority and the responsibility of the municipal organization of civil security of the Canton de Hatley municipality.
