We invite all residents who have not yet taken their boat out of the lake or who plan to use the boat launch at Ayer’s Cliff, only public boat launch available around the lake, to do so by Friday, November 12, 2021, before 2 p.m.
We also urge the owners of private boat launches located around the lake to close off these accesses in order to avoid any additional contamination by zebra mussels.
These measures are taken following the recent discovery of zebra mussels (an invasive species) in lake Massawippi.
