The Conseil régional de l’environnement de l’Estrie (CRE Estrie) is organizing a virtual citizens’ assembly on Tuesday, September 14 at 7 p.m. to announce the results of the survey on the environmental priorities of the citizens of Estrie as well as environmental commitments to be made for candidates for municipal elections in the region.
A mayor and an outgoing councilor as well as a former councilor will talk about their experience with the role of municipal politics in the advancement of environmental issues. A question period will also be offered to participants. We hope it will be inspiring for all!
The entire population, as well as those interested in running for municipal elections, are therefore invited to virtually attend this event. The meeting will be presented on the Zoom platform for those wishing to speak and broadcast live on the Facebook page of the Conseil régional de l’environnement de l’Estrie.
