Call for candidates – urban planning advisory committee

The Municipality of the Canton of Hatley is currently calling for candidates to fill two positions of members sitting on the advisory planning committee (CCU). Each mandate has a duration of 2 years.

The function of the committee is to study and submit recommendations to the Municipal Council on any question concerning urban planning, zoning, subdivision and construction, in accordance with the Act respecting land use planning and development.

The committee must in particular study and draft an opinion to Council of any request relating to:
• a site planning and architectural integration plan (PIIA);
• a minor variation request;
• a special project for the construction, modification or occupation of a building (PPCMOI).

The committee meets once a month in ordinary session, normally on a Monday at 4:30 p.m. Occasionally, it may meet in extraordinary session.

The persons interested, who reside on the territory of the Municipality, who hold an interest or knowledge related to land use planning, can send a short letter of interest describing their interest and the reasons demonstrating that they are able to sit on the committee.

The persons concerned must send their application no later than February 22, 2022 by email to [email protected]
