Shrub distribution for shorelines

In order to support citizens in their efforts to reforest shorelines and buffer strips, the Municipality of the Canton of Hatley, together with the MRC of Memphremagog, offers a distribution of native shrubs specifically adapted to this environment.

As of now, residents are invited to order plants at reduced cost, from the list of species offered, via the form below.

Orders must be filled and paid for no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024. Payment methods: By cheque (by mail, at reception or in the secure box to the left of the front door), cash or debit card at City Hall.

You can pick up your order on May 17, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., or on May 21, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Town Hall, 4765 chemin de Capelton. Citizens must have in their possession a photo ID to pick up their order of shrubs.

Remember that the owners of land that borders a watercourse or a lake must renaturalize their shoreline by planting native species in order to comply with the regulations in force. The distribution of plants represents a great opportunity to acquire a variety of species at a reduced price
