The cross-country ski trail is groomed all winter over a distance of 8 km, between the Capelton Mine and the Massawippi River dam near North Hatley. Parking is available on Kingdom Road (new 40-space parking lot) and at the Capelton Mine site. Have a great season!
Cross-country ski trails and good citizenship
The 8 km cross-country ski trail between the Capelton mine and North Hatley is maintained by municipal employees for the benefit of residents and the public, and is laid out with distinct zones:

The cross-country ski trails going back and forth are reserved for skiers.
➡️ Walking and other activities, including leashed dog walking
a corridor is groomed in the center for these uses, please stay in this space and do not damage the trails on either side out of respect for users and people working on its maintenance.
